耶稣是信心的盾牌。在耶稣里，那坚不可摧的信心盾牌，从头到脚，就是我们的，用以抵挡黑暗之王投射在我们身上每一支凶猛的火箭。这个盾牌不可分割地与神的话相连，“……但你所学习，所确信的，要存在心里，因为你知道是跟谁学的。并且知道你是从小明白圣经，这圣经能使你因信基督耶稣有得救的智慧。”

“THEREFORE, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surroundings us, let us lay aside every encumbrance, and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith.”
