0717 我必以我的名坚立你
让我的儿子成为你们的榜样，祂没有追求与当时的宗教名流觥筹交错；而是与罪人同席，坐在破碎之人中间与之相伴。祂更关心的是使疲乏的人重新得力，而不是迎合那些骄傲之人。怜悯之心驱使祂走向不受欢迎的地方，激起那些误解祂的人的憎恨。
祂所做的一切，都是因为祂看见我这样。祂走上了通往死亡的道路，只为赢得你的灵魂。祂的一生就是爱——完美的牺牲，一段卑微谦和的旅程，却蕴含着至高无上的力量。这就是我呼召你要活出来的生命：一种源于你内心的感动而流淌出来的生命，使你能够像我一样去爱。不要忽略你里面升起的怜悯，不要推开我圣灵的提醒，远离众人注目的聚光灯，而要带着我的荣耀进入黑暗之处。要不断地求问我：你要走的每一步，你该走哪一条路，你应该与谁交谈，以及我如何看待你所遇到的每一个人。不要为自己建立名声；要建立我的国度，我必以我的名坚立你。
我向你们讲述永恒不变的真理：子不能凭着自己做什么，也不能从自己的意思出发做什么。我只做我看见父所做的事，因为子所做的事，正与父所做的一样。——约翰福音 5:19
0717 I will establish you in my name.
Let my Son be your example. He didn’t seek to dine with the religious celebrities of the day; he ate with sinners and sat with the broken. He was more concerned with reviving the weary than acknowledging the proud. Compassion drove him to unpopular places, stirring the hatred of those who misunderstood him.
All he did, he did because he saw me do it. He followed the path that would lead to death, in order to win your soul. His life was love–a perfect sacrifice, a lowly, humble journey of the greatest power. This is the life I call you to: a life that flows from the stirrings of your heart and enables you to love the way I do. Don’t ignore the compassion that rises within you. Don’t brush aside the nudges of my Spirit to step away from the limelight and reach into darkness with my glory. Ask me, each step of the way, which path you should take, who you should talk to, and how I see the people you encounter. Don’t build a name for yourself. Build my kingdom, and I will establish you in my name.
I speak to you timeless truth. The Son is not able to do anything from himself or through my own initiative. I only do the works that see the Father doing, for the Son does the same works as his Father. –JOHN 5:19
