耶穌是信心的盾牌。在耶穌里，那堅不可摧的信心盾牌，從頭到腳，就是我們的，用以抵擋黑暗之王投射在我們身上每一支兇猛的火箭。這個盾牌不可分割地與神的話相連，“……但你所學習，所確信的，要存在心裡，因為你知道是跟誰學的。並且知道你是從小明白聖經，這聖經能使你因信基督耶穌有得救的智慧。”

JESUS is the SHIELD of FAITH. From head to toe the impenetrable shield of faith is ours in Jesus to hold against every fiery missile hurled at us by the prince of darkness. “THEREFORE, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surroundings us, let us lay aside every encumbrance, and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith.”
