耶稣是救助者。祂来帮助那些在困苦中的人。耶稣说，
你无法躲避我的同在/存在。大卫从经验中得知，尽管他在阴间下榻，我在那里。我行在惧怕、怨恨、愤怒、苦毒的浑水之上，并说：“平静，安静。”当你哭叫“主，可怜我！”之时，所有在你里面，以及在你之外的要素，都必须顺服我的声音。
1006 JESUS is the SUCCOURER
JESUS is the SUCCOURER. He comes to the aid of the one in distress. JESUS says,
You cannot hide from My Presence. David knew from experience that though he made his bed in hell, I was there. I walk on the troubled waters of fear, resentments, rage, bitterness and say, “Peace, be still.” All the elements within you and without must obey My voice when you cry. ‘Lord, have mercy!’
“For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.”
