當你來到我面前懷着感恩的心歌唱時，讓你的讚美找到真實的表達。真正的敬拜是最崇高且最壯麗的感恩形式，因為在你的敬拜詩歌中，你正在宣告我的良善。
你心中最美的表達，出現在讚美與你周遭所發生的一切完全對立之時。那時，敬拜在我面前升起，如愛的馨香祭物。親愛的，我要你知道：我並非只是接受你的讚美，坐在那裡享受它，卻不知你為讚美所付出的代價是什麼；我不會對你的痛苦視若無睹。你在痛苦之中對我的這份委身觸動了我，我的耳朵傾聽你，我的心屬於你，我全然專註於你。從你唇間升起的深情之流，將我拉近；我來吸入你所獻上的馨香之氣。這是何等美麗，如此純潔，如此真實。我看見你的眼淚，我知道你需要我，我在這裡。當你向我獻上如此的愛時，我無法抗拒你。

1015 Sing in opposition to your pain
Let your praises find true expression as you come before me with singing and a thankful heart. True worship is the highest and most sublime form of gratitude, because in your songs of worship you are proclaiming my goodness.
The most beautiful expression of your heart comes when praise stands in full opposition to what’s happening around you. At such times, worship rises before me as a sweet offering of love. Beloved, I want you to know that I don’t simply receive your praise, sit back, and enjoy it without an awareness of what it costs you. I don’t turn a blind eye to your pain. This devotion to me, in the midst of your pain, moves me. You have my ear. You have my heart. You have my full attention. The streams of affection that rise from your lips pull me close. I come and inhale the fragrance of your offering. How beautiful it is —so pure and real. I see your tears. I know you need me. I’m here. I cannot resist you when you offer me such love.
“You are my Maker, my Mediator, and my Master. Any good thing you find in me has come from you.” And he said to me, “My holy lovers are wonderful, my majestic ones, my glorious ones, fulfilling all my desires. “–PSALM 16:2-3
