1003 永恆的祝福從現在開始
任何使你的眼目偏離我的事物，都必須丟棄。那些引誘你落入試探的世俗追求，必須被我屬天的旨意來替代。你靈魂中那些緊抓着不饒恕的地方，將被連根拔除，並以我憐憫的愛來取代。世界對你的牽引，將被我愛的強烈影響力所取代。討好他人的衝動，將被一股熾熱的情感所取代，使你無論付上什麼代價，都要遵行我的旨意。而想要憑自己的力量行事的試探，將被這樣的認知所取代，即唯有藉着我的靈，你才能成功並得着真正的滿足。
凡你所捨棄的，我以更大的事物來賜福給你。雖然此刻你或許感覺像是犧牲，但它無法與我將要賜給你的喜樂相比。我賜給你一個豐盛、喜樂、恩典的生命——一個在地上就開始的、擁有永恆祝福的生命。但比一切最重要的是，你對我的委身所得的獎賞，遠比地上任何事物所能給予的更為深刻。你將更多經歷我真實的同在，因為你必從屬世的干擾與纏累中得着自由。
禰恩賜給我更多的的洞察力，超過古時的智者，因為我沒有偏離禰的道路，一直行在禰真理的光中。當試探出現在我面前的時候，我拒絕放寬我的道德標準，好使我能夠順服禰的話語。我不迴避那些艱難的真理，因為禰自己已教導我愛慕你的話語。——詩篇 119:100–102
1003 Eternal blessings begin now
Anything that takes your eyes off of me must be discarded. Worldly pursuits that lure you into temptation must be exchanged for my heavenly purposes. Places in your soul that hold on to unforgiveness will be uprooted and replaced with my compassionate love. The tug of the world will be replaced with the compelling influence of my love. The urge to please others will be replaced with a fiery passion to do my will, regardless of the cost. And the temptation to do something in your own strength will be replaced with the awareness that only by my Spirit will you succeed and be fulfilled.
For everything you give up, I bless you with something much greater. Though it may feel like a sacrifice now, it cannot compare to the joy I will give you in exchange. I offer you a life of abundance, joy, and grace–a life of eternal blessing that begins here on earth. But more than anything, your devotion to me is rewarded with something much more profound than anything earth can offer. You will experience more of my tangible presence, because you will be free from the entanglements of earthly distraction.
You have graced me with more insight than the old sages because I have not failed to walk in the light of your ways. I refused to bend my morals when temptation was before me so that I could become obedient to your word. I refuse to turn away from difficult truths, for you yourself have taught me to love your words. –PSALM 119:100-102
