0928 每時每刻與我同行
走那條又直又窄的路，並不像你想的那麼難。它不在於你為了與我保持正確的關係而放棄了什麼，而在於你要親近我，好使你不偏離這條路。它在於你把心安定在我身上，並學習時時刻刻將你生命的每一個層面順服於我。當你的思緒和內心無聲的默想使你漸漸偏離對我同在的認知時，你就很容易跌倒。
至關重要的是，你要留意察看你的靈命狀態——那些我給到你的微妙警告。許多時候，你把它們當作只是你自己的想法而忽略了，但其實是我在讓你知道，不要去做某件事，或者不要偏離我為你所規劃的，而走向另一個方向。
每個人都有各自的旅程，以及各自與我之間的關係。當我要求你不要做某件事時，不要論斷別人所做的事，也不要期待別人去做那些我要求你做的事。任何時候都要謹慎地保守你的心，要將你的眼目定睛在我身上，這就是我們每時每刻的同行。
要守護你心中的情感，因為它們影響着你整個人。要留意你最深處生命的光景，因為生命的泉源就是從那裡涌流出來的。——箴言 4:23
0928 Walk with me moment by moment.
Walking the straight and narrow road isn’t as hard as you think. It isn’t about the things you give up in order to live in right standing with me. It’s about staying close to me so you don’t veer from the path. It’s about fixing your heart on me and learning to submit every aspect of your life to me, moment by moment. When your thoughts and silent musings cause you to drift away from the knowledge of my presence, it’s easy to trip.
It’s vital that you pay attention to the checks in your spirit–those subtle warnings that I give you. Many times, you have dismissed them as your own thoughts, but they are me letting you know not to do something or go in a different direction than I have planned for you.
Everyone has their own journey, their own relationship with me. Don’t judge what others do when I’ve asked you not to do it. And don’t expect others to do the things I’ve asked you to do. Be careful to guard your heart at all times. Keep your eyes fixed on me. This is our moment-to-moment walk.
Guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life. –PROVERBS 4:23
