0506 懼怕不是你的朋友
懼怕不是你的朋友，所以不要再呼應它；停止聽從仇敵向你投擲的每一個謊言，好像你沒有能力抵擋一樣。拒絕那使你在恐懼中退縮的邀請，反而要不斷默想神為你所預備的結局。要宣告我的真理，拿起你信心的盾牌，它必能熄滅地獄一切的火箭。要站立得穩，要剛強壯膽。
你是有能力的，充滿了那使我兒子從死里復活同樣的聖靈。要信靠我在你裡面的愛的能力。把你的信心扎入懼怕的核心，把它從你的靈魂中拔除。把它推到我面前，信靠我就是我所說的那一位；懼怕與信靠不能共存。你不需要把一切都弄明白；不要讓仇敵欺騙你，以為不斷思想這些事就會改變它——不會的。只要把這一切交在我手中，並向懼怕關上門；我就在這裡與你同在。把懼怕交給我，信靠我。
門徒叫醒耶穌，說：“主啊，主啊，我們要沉下去了！你不顧我們要淹死了嗎？”耶穌以極大的權柄斥責狂風和洶湧的波浪，它們立刻止息，變得平靜如鏡。於是耶穌對他們說：“你們為什麼懼怕？你們失去對我的信心了嗎？”—— 路加福音 8:24-25
0506 Fear is not your friend.
Fear is not your friend, so stop agreeing with it. Stop listening to every lie the enemy throws at you, as if you don’t have the power to resist it. Decline the invitation to cower in fear, while rehearsing the outcome he has envisioned for you. Declare my truth. Take up your shield of faith. It will quench the fiery darts of hell. Stand and be courageous.
You are powerful, filled with the same Spirit that raised my Son from the grave. Trust the power of my love within you. Dig your faith into the heart of fear and tear it away from your soul. Thrust it before my presence and trust me to be who I say I am. Fear and trust cannot coexist. You do not have to figure this out. Don’t allow the enemy to trick you into thinking that obsessing over this will change it. It will not. Simply release this into my hands and close the door to fear. I am here with you. Release the fear. Trust me.
The disciples woke Jesus up and said, “Master, Master, we’re sinking! Don’t you care that we’re going to drown?” With great authority Jesus rebuked the howling wind and surging waves, and instantly they stopped and became as smooth as glass. Then Jesus said to them, “Why are you fearful? Have you lost your faith in me?”– LUKE 8:24-25
